Hello again, Batsy-Bats! Today I’ll be talking about my collaboration with The Bat Cave Shop( thebatcaveshopdiPaggetti/). They are are a company with from Italy who sell clothes, shoes, accessories, lingerie, make-up, pretty much anything you would want to have!
The service is excellent, the owner of the shop is very kind, so feel free to ask her anything about the products/how to order/how long do you have to wait for the products to arrive etc.
In the photos, you can see the lace dress from The Bat Cave Shop. They have it in white, as well. Since it is completely transparent, I decided to match it with high waist pants I bought at H&M for my prom night. Why the pants and not a skirt… Because I wanted to pay tribute to traditional clothes from India, which I adore. Stay tuned for some sari photos from an old, unpublished photo shoot of mine on my IG (www.instagram.com/eleanoredystopia/).
Loving the fashion of the 10-90s, with the exception of the 40s, I decided to give my look a speck of the 20s, so I added a turban and a long, black cigarette holder (for the record, I don’t smoke, I did it for the purpose of the photo) to complete the look. Why am I not a vintage model, then? You know how it is either hard to find good vintage clothes, or expensive? Besides that, alternative clothing is also harder to find, than regular one, because alternatives are in minority (No waaay?) and clothes are made so that the majority of people would buy them. Well, I believe you can now imagine how hard it is to find alternative vintage clothing. Anyway, as in every style I do, I made this one look more like me.
If you find this photo shoot familiar, you are right, you have seen some of the photos. If not, here they are. pg/eleanoredystopia/photos/?tab=album&album_id=201513846925012
